These pieces are lyrical conversations using movement and line to examine external and internal environments engaging the natural world as a touchstone. Each piece is an experience, a gestural immersion balancing contemplation and intention with spontaneous revelations. 

To record the calligraphic movements and layers of meaning and experience that are the language of these works, the agility and sustained fluidity of beeswax is engaged. Paintings are created on a heated plate, the dynamic renderings changing continuously as movements build and heat interacts with the pigments and wax until the monotype is harvested. They are being and becoming, eventually completed in the gaze of the audience.
